Like explained on
the home page, Eau Claire Sports Car Club, is
not necessarily a formal club with "Club
Presidents" and things like that. Again, this
website was created in conjunction with the
discussion forum to give people from all over
Wisconsin and Minnesota a place to talk cars, as
well as learn and stay up to date with current
events.
ECSCC started as a
small group of car enthusiast that moved from
across the state only to find a some-what
struggling "car scene" in Eau Claire. We have
spent two short years spreading the word as well
as "joining forces" with
Chippewa Valley Sports Car Club to gain
popularity on the forum as well as at local
events. Chippewa Valley Sports Car Club
is a formal organization, who with help from
Minnesota Autosports Club,
put on Autocross Events in Eau Claire. They also
host a slew of other fun events, which can all
be found on their website, or under "Events" on
this website.
It doesn't matter if
you enjoy working on cars, racing cars, talking
cars, or just watching; you are all welcome to
join the discussion forum and share your
thoughts and opinions! If you want to receive
reduced entry fee's at local events, it is
suggested that you visit Cvscc.org's website and
sign up to become a member, however, that is
certainly not required.
There are also a
number of other car events in the area that
Cvscc and forum members participate in, such as
car shows, drag racing at Rock Falls Raceway,
and car cruises.
